2011 Veteran Men's 60&O in Qtr Finals
of National Clubs Knock Out Cup

Mike Bottomley writes: The National Knock Out Cup O-60 team of me, Graham Jones, Dick Trevor and Cedric Egby made it to the quarter-finals this year, having beaten Cumberland Club (London, not Cumbria!!) and East Gloucester. In the quarter final round we came up against Streetly (Sutton Coldfield), who very unkindly fielded a team of 4 England internationals, so while the matches were actually reasonably competitive, a combination of the home team's skills, plus their advantage of playing at home in the rain on a soaking wet artificial grass surface, ended up seeing us lose 4-0.
