ROAD TO WIMBLEDON 2007 Maidenhead LTC is holding its 6th Road to Wimbledon tournament during April & May. The tournament is open to all players 14 & under in 2007. Each participating player will receive a Road to Wimbledon certificate and tournament draw will be arranged on a “staggered “ format to give everybody a match against a similar rated opponent and subsequent matches progressively getting tougher. The winners of the Maidenhead Road to Wimbledon Tournament (and possibly the runner up) will qualify for the Berkshire LTA county finals and the winner of that event will qualify to compete at Wimbledon on the same courts as Murray, Federer, Sharapova or Clijsters. Last year Ben Gauna and Rebecca Wyatt won the MLTC and then won the Berkshire LTA event qualifying for the finals at Wimbledon – so this could be your chance!!!!!! To enter the event, please sign the poster or complete an entry form and hand to Nigel by 15th March 2007.
