Squad Details
Summer Term Tennis Coaching will run for 5 weeks commencing on 21st April 2008 and
finishing on 21st May 2008. Please note there will be no coaching on Monday 5th May 2008
(Bank Holiday weekend).
Nigel Mann (Head Coach) manages the coaching programme and the lessons will be run by Nigel, Richard Downs and Selena Coburn. All coaches at Maidenhead LTC are L.T.A qualified. Groups will have a maximum of 8 to 12 pupils per coach and the emphasis will be on having fun by using a variety of games and activities to develop their skills and gradually increasing the technical aspects of the game when the pupils are ready.
The LTA Mini Tennis Award scheme operates in all Red & Orange groups The groups will cater for all standards and ages and children will receive high quality coaching covering all aspects of tennis i.e. technique, rules, scoring etc.
Racquets can be provided or purchased at far below shop prices.
Nigel Mann and Maidenhead LTC have an excellent reputation for providing Junior Tennis Coaching creating a fun, safe and enjoyable environment for children to experience a wonderful sport. Many junior members have represented the club at County and Regional level, but most importantly children discover a sport for life!!!!
Please ensure that players wear appropriate clothing and always have a drink with them.
