What Happens Then? As soon as possible, you will be invited to a fun tennis session with head coach, Nigel Mann (pictured right) to assess your ability, so that he can give you an LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) rating. The £12 fee for this is non-refundable but will be deducted from the entry fee if you join within 30 days. This is followed by a free drink and nibbles to give you an opportunity to meet other members including some of our committee. We hope this will help you to start making new contacts and feel welcome.
Why Maidenhead LTC? We are large enough to cater for all needs, small enough to be friendly. We field a large number of teams at Club, County and Regional levels including 2-3 in the Aegon national league. Our Juniors compete at all levels from Mini Red ‘Road To Wimbledon’ to Tennis Europe and the prestigious Miami Orange Bowl thanks to a great coaching programme under head coach, Nigel Mann. Indoor facilities are available, social tennis is well catered for and there is a full calendar of social events. Nevertheless, our subscriptions represent unbeatable value.continue/

Adults who are absolute beginners are expected to pursue a course of coaching which will bring them up to a reasonable standard so that they can then join in confidently with club tennis.
