The functions and duties of the Social Players Representative include:
To represent the views and opinions of, and manage, the social playing members in a fair and constructive way.
1. To arrange the overseeing of the smooth and fair allocation of courts during club playing sessions.
2. To set an example and to enforce court etiquette including dress code, mobile phone rules
3. Undertake initial disciplinary measures of members
4. To attempt to arrange a tournament /handicap event for the social members only.
5. To ensure that all people dealing with juniors have been appropriately CRB checked or have completed self-declaration forms
6. To ensure that appropriate documents are filed centrally
7. Responsible for the integration of new beginner members into the club
8. Responsible for the integration of new members into the club, with the Team Captains as appropriate
9. To ensure that appropriate documents are filed centrally
10. To operate in accordance with the current club rules and regulations.
