The functions and duties of the Honorary Secretary include:
Overall responsibility To work with the Chairman, Treasurer and the Administrator in the day to day management of the Club. To contribute as effectively as possible towards the attainment of our vision and to propose, consider and implement strategic initiatives.
Specific areas of responsibility Bank Account Signatory.
Regular meetings with the Club Administrator relating to the ongoing administration of the Club. Management of the Club Administrator including recruitment, agreement of terms and conditions, annual appraisal, salary (with the Treasurer).
To work with the Club Administrator on the control of the waiting list in accordance with the direction of the ACFC.
Court Rules. Work with the Club Administrator to propose and obtain agreement to changes and the implement of the rules.
Constitutional matters AGM/EGM's - calling and arranging meetings, production and issue of minutes Executive Committee - - calling and arranging meetings, production and issue of minutes
ACFC - membership of this committee and to be one of its representatives on the Executive Committee.
Liaison with Berkshire LTA in particular relating to Club Vision.
Club Trustee
To ensure that appropriate documents are filed centrally
To operate in accordance with the current club rules and regulations
