The duties and functions of the Junior Representative include:
To represent and manage the junior section of the club 1. To arrange and chair a junior committee which will include representatives from the juniors 2. Representation of junior members on the PCC and the EMC. 3. Prepare juniors reports, juniors tournaments and juniors yearly budget. 4. Serve on the main Tournament Committee and chair a juniors Tournament Committee 5. Coordinating with Head Coach for the development of the junior section. 6. Undertake initial disciplinary measures of juniors. 7. Management of junior teams and matches including liaison with the Match Secretary 8. To review on an annual basis, the number and type of teams and to make proposals for any changes 9. Be conversant with regulations for County competitions published in the Berkshire LTA Handbook. Particular attention should be paid to: nominations, forwarding match cards, completion of team on match card before play, order of play, lateness, clothing. 10. Responsible for the transition of juniors into seniors. 11. Responsible for the integration of new junior members into the club 12. To be the adult person responsible for young persons in terms of child protection 13. To ensure that all people dealing with juniors have been appropriately CRB checked or have completed self-declaration forms 14. To ensure that appropriate documents are filed centrally 15. Make match results and commentary available for publication in the press and at www.mltc.co.uk via the Publicity and Communications Co-ordinator 16. Ensure any match fees are collected and given to the Treasurer 17. Preparation of appropriate reports for the newsletters and the club AGM 18. To operate in accordance with the current club rules and regulations
