The Bar Representative has the following duties and functions:
- To manage the bar ensuring it does not make a loss
- Manage the bar including purchasing stock.
- Ensuring all necessary licences are obtained and are valid
- Ensure the bar is staffed as necessary.
- All employed bar staff to be recruited, managed, appraised at least once per year and paid (with the Treasurer)
- Be responsible for the maintenance of all bar and lounge fixtures, fittings, appliances and equipment
- Ensure appropriate Health & Safety and Food Standards are followed
- To ensure that appropriate documents are filed centrally
- To operate in accordance with the current club rules and regulations
