c) Completed assessment forms and a cheque made out to Maidenhead Lawn Tennis Club, covering fees should be sent to Keith Ashby at the Club.

You should normally receive confirmation of membership within one week.

Beginners Membership Conditions
Maidenhead is one of very few clubs that will admit absolute beginners in both junior and senior category. This is done on the understanding that these members are joining to learn the game and to practice, helped by coaching to reach a rating of 10.1 within one year. Failure to do so will mean the committee will review the membership at that time and may terminate it at its discretion.

Reassessment is free and is available once a quarter.

The following restrictions apply to beginners (a rating of 11)

a) Play should be predominantly at Oaken Grove where courts can be booked in advance.

b) Exclusion from club nights/group sessions for seniors and Friday club nights for juniors.

c) Floodlight courts can only be booked 5 days in advance.

d) Exclusion from entering club tournaments or American tournaments.

e) Expected to enrol in individual or beginner group coaching with one of the club coaches.
