National Club League (NCL)
It was a mixed season in the NCL for our teams. The outcome of which is that we will still have two teams in the national section, but none in the top tier. The standard of tennis in this league is very good, so I would like to encourage you to come to next season's home matches to support our teams.
Maidenhead A team were competing at the top level of the NCL for the third consecutive season. However, we had a disappointing season in the South East region of NCL division 1 and have been relegated to national 2 for next season.
Maidenhead B were in the second tier of the national section and managed to win 2 out of 6 matches to maintain their position in national division 2, where they will be joined by the A team for next season.
Maidenhead C who won 4 out of 5 matches in Berks division 1 to top the table. The team were prevented from competing for promotion to the national section by league rules governing the number of teams a club can have in the national section. So we'll have to make do with 2 teams in the nationals. The D team won 3 out of 5 matches in Berkshire division 4 to finish mid-table.
